Eduardo cultivated his interest in medicine before beginning medical school at Montemorelos University in Nuevo León, Mexico, in 2004. After a health-altering experience during his theology studies there, he earned a master’s degree in theology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
Seeking a more comprehensive approach to care, he attended medical school at Montemorelos University, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southwestern Adventist University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2010, and a master’s degree in nursing from Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2015.
His clinical experience spans intensive care, emergency, urgent care, internal medicine, family practice, mental health and lifestyle medicine. He spent eight years serving the Dalton community at the Healthy Life Center at Mohawk Inc., where his compassion and bilingual skills earned the respect of the people he cared for. His mission is to make Dalton and its neighboring communities healthier, physically and aesthetically, one patient at a time.
Dr. Jaime Recasens is a board-certified internist caring for patients in both Chatsworth and Dalton. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and has practiced medicine for more than 20 years.
He specializes in managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension and non-Alzheimer’s dementia.
